Acceptance of terms
By accessing and using Join (the “Product”), you confirm that you accept these terms and conditions, along with any related policies or guidelines that may be updated from time to time. We, the listed students, may revise these terms without prior notice.
Scope and ownership of the product
Join was created as a student group project within a web development bootcamp at the Developer Akademie GmbH. It serves an educational purpose and is not intended for extensive personal or business use. Therefore, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, reliability, accuracy, or any specific quality of the Product.
The design of Join is owned by the Developer Akademie GmbH. Any unauthorized use, reproduction, modification, distribution, or replication of the design is strictly prohibited.
Proprietary rights
Except for the design rights held by Developer Akademie GmbH, we, the listed students, retain all rights in and to Join, including any associated copyrighted material, trademarks, and other proprietary information.
Use of the product
Join may only be used for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Any use of Join for illegal activities, or to harass, harm, threaten, or intimidate others, is strictly prohibited. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users of Join.
Disclaimer of warranties and limitation of liability
Join is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither we (the listed students) nor the Developer Akademie GmbH shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses — arising from or in connection with the use or performance of Join, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us (the listed students), the Developer Akademie GmbH, and our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, and employees from and against any claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, or liabilities (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of Join and/or your breach of this Legal Notice.
